Adolphus Jefway's Civil War grave is in Marietta National Cemetery in Georgia. Read about his unit, the 123rd New York Voluntary Infantry.
Philip Jefway's Civil War grave is in the National Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York and mistakenly reads Philip "Jeffery."
The four brothers, Adolphus, William, Edward and Jeremiah, Jr. all went out west to Colorado in the 1880's. Jeffway Gulch and Jeffway Peak in Craig Colorado are named for Jeremiah, Jr.
