1918:
Harry Jeffway enlists in the
Navy, serving in the emerging field of Electricity at Brooklyn Navy Yard.
After the war, Harry and his brother Bill formed and managed
"Jeffway-Hatch" until the 1960's in Easthampton, Massachusettes. Shown
is the heading of a bill or receipt from their store (post-TV era!).
